Our first featured presenter is Brian Wang:
As the Co-Founder / CEO of Fitocracy, an app that tracks and shares workout routines, Brian Wang, 26, uses his gaming insights to motivate people to be more active. Fitocracy rewards its users with badges and points every time they submit workout details. The company has raised around $1 million in venture financing from Dave McClure’s 500 Startups and Eniac Ventures, among others. Prior to Fitocracy, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and spent two years working in management consulting. In his spare time he likes to rock out at metal shows and play some sweet licks on the guitar.
Our second featured presenter is Robert Haining, Digg:
Digg delivers the most interesting and talked about stories on the Internet right now. The Internet is full of great stories, and Digg helps you find, read, and share the very best ones. It’s simple and it’s everywhere: visit Digg on the web, find it on your iPhone, or get the best of Digg delivered to your inbox with The Daily Digg.
Robert Haining is the Senior iOS Developer for Digg. Previously, he was the Senior iOS Developer for News.me and iOS apps at Conde Nast for Vanity Fair, GQ and Glamour.
Our third featured presenters are Julie and Jim Babb:
Julie Babb and Jim Babb are the co-founders of the non-traditional game development studio Awkward Hug. They partnered with CollegeHumor to create Bout, a photo-taking game you play with friends.
Leading comedy brand CollegeHumor and indie game developer AwkwardHug have teamed to launch Bout, a new free gaming app for iOS devices. A social photo-taking game, Bout pits players’ photography skills and cleverness against their friends’ for the chance to win in-game coins and earnbragging rights. With two ways to play—as a competitor or a judge—players race to submit the most creative pictures in response to Bout prompts, resulting in an endless stream of amazing, funny photos. Bout is available now on the App Store.
