Introduction
This group has really rekindled my love of archery, and has provided great opportunities to meet other enthusiasts and expand my activities in the field.
How did you find out about the NYC Archery Meetup Group?
Why Google, of course!
As a group, we have ambitions for travel and expansion; corporate sponsorship and a shooting space of our own. As a member of the club, what developments would you like to see?
Working with Deidre and the group has given me the notion that I would love to run a range with this group, offering classes and equipment to new members and veterans alike, something beyond my workaday office life.
A large part of the value in joining our group is socializing and learning from other archers. Can you tell us what you hope to get out of joining our archery club?
I was looking for a like minded group of people to share ideas and technique with. As a group we have been able to make great trips to shoot, train, compete, dine; making my time with them very worth while, well beyond my original expectations.
Archery is a sport that requires practice and discipline, and we meet regularly to fulfill these requirements. If you cannot attend an event at least ONCE every 60 days, do you understand your membership will be discontinued?
Being with the group makes it a pleasure to make my way to Queens Archery every weekend and even during the week. You'll see more than once a month.

After shooting on and off for 20 years, I was looking for a place to shoot in NYC. While shooting at Queen's Archery is great, meeting the members of this group regularly makes it even more enjoyable.
