Come join us afterwork on Friday May 1st, for our next Meetup at LQ's, in the heart of Midtown!

This will be Part 3 of the LQ blasts (part 4 will be later this year). If you made it out to the last 2 ones, you know that this one is not to be missed!!

Come enjoy 2 for 1 drinks from 5pm-7pm and a free dinner buffet!

LQ's is a spacious venue, so there is plenty of room to walk around the very attractive space, while mingling with not only other Group members within our VIP section, but with other Latino and Black professionals throughout the rest of the club. There are two separate rooms, where 6 DJ's will be spinning the latest in hip hop, r&b, reggae, reggaeton, salsa, merengue and bachata music. A perfect venue to host our very diverse and multi cultural professional Meetup group!

Doors open at 5pm, and the Meetup gathering will last officially until 8pm. However, all members and their guests are welcome to hang out and dance the rest of the night away, as the venue does not close until 4am! :)

**Also, there will be FREE Salsa lessons in the Q room for anyone that wishes to learn!**

Please note the details below:


  • You have to tell the doorman that you are on the Black/Latino Meetup Guestlist to get in free
  • Free admission for ladies until 6pm / $7 after until 8pm / $10 after 8pm
  • Reduced admission $7 for guys until 7pm/ $10 After
  • Free dinner buffett is from 5pm-7pm
  • 2 for 1 drinks (Buy 1, get 1 free) until 7pm
  • We will be sitting in the VIP section of the club, by the bar to the left. This will be our "home base" for the evening, but we are free to mingle throughout the rest of the venue.
  • Again, do not be afraid to dance, or be asked to dance :). If you are a new member, or generally shy, this is a great mixer event. As per most of our dance events, this event is definitely more geared toward those members that need to unwind and have a great time, while still mingling with fellow urban professionals.

    **BTW, They are having a recession specials on certain bottles for $100 (for Absolute, Jack Daniels, Dewars, Bacardi & more), so if you would like to reserve a private booth at the event and get a bottle, let me know that as well**
