A Preview of C++14

The ISO C++ Committee is following up C++11 with a revised standard, targeted as C++14, which is currently in ballot with the participating national standard committees.

Alisdair Meredith, as Library Working Group chair, has been involved with much of the new development, and will give a rapid guided tour of the changes in the new standard, including "polymorphic lambdas", "C++ answer to VLAs in C", a generalization of the 'constexpr' facility, and a number of smaller library enhancements.

    Hi Everyone -

    Looking forward to seeing you all tonight. Per Meghan's earlier request, if you have RSVP'ed 'yes' but will not in fact be able to attend, please update your status so people on the wait list can attend.

    Also a reminder that building security will be checking names against the attendee list, so you must RSVP if you wish to attend.

      Hi - It looks to me like enough people were not able to make it (and updated their RSVP status as requested), so you have been moved off the waitlist. Please come by!
