Mashable called 2013 the Year of Responsive Web Design. Now, at the end of the year, how has your site fared in the new mobile world?

Responsive web design allows you to adapt webpages to various size screens and devices: from mobile phones, to tablets, to various desktops of all sizes. If you're not already optimizing websites for all of these screens, you'll soon have to be!

In this talk, Dan Rodney from Noble Desktop will show you how to get started building responsive sites, using nothing but CSS!

Speaker: Dan Rodney is the Senior Tech Guru and Instructor at Noble Desktop where he's been teaching and developing course material since 1999. Dan is a CSS and JavaScript master, having written two publishing industry–standard InDesign scripts: Proper Fraction Pro and Make Book Jacket.

After Dan's talk, we'll have a period of Q&A and discussion about Responsive Design. Please bring your stories (good and bad) to share with the group about how you've employed Responsive Design in your Web Design and Development process!

Hi everyone, thanks for the great turnout and positive comments. For those ready to jump into the deep end of responsive design and all its technical intricacies, our associated meetup is holding a topical event

Sergey is one of the leaders in the field of front-end optimization, and I have learnt a lot from his meetups over the last three years.

I highly recommend this. Please do try and sign up, it's going to be very technical and extremely educational!

I can't make it tonight; came down with a cold. If my spot was being held, it's now free.

No, it's not available.. please respect the rsvp process. If you did not pay through meetup then you do not have a valid rsvp. Thanks for understanding :)

    Hi,

I clicked yes, to attending early this AM through the Mail calendar app, but I'm not sure if it ever got processed. When I looked through the stats on my emailing listing which meetings I'd RSVP'ed and attended, it listed one I don't recall RSVPing or attending, and said I'd done both.

So is there any other way to confirm whether I'm on or off the list?

    Thanks!

    L

Can you please share an outline of what'll be taught so I can get an idea?

Hi Joanne, this is not a class in the traditional sense nor a training event. Presentation will cover several aspects of designing responsive web sites, testing processes and lots of interaction q&a

Choosing Amazon as a checkout method is interesting.

It's PayPal or Amazon, unfortunate the meetup process does not allow both.
