Let's show some veggie pride, celebrate Meetup's 5th birthday AND enjoy this beautiful NYC park.
Please bring a vegan dish to share with 8 people, water for yourself, and your own reusable plate and utensils. Ground cover to sit on is encouraged, as are frisbees and other fun, social items.

MORE INFO FROM PICNIC ORGANIZER:
Food
We are arranging for several vendors to be there to sell food and beverages from around New York. 5 Boroughs Ice Cream, Erica's Rugelach Bakery, Wine Cellar Sorbets, and Super Mac will all be there selling food. More will be added to this list soon.
You are also welcome to bring your own picnic supplies to the park and grilling is allowed in the Nethermead (charcoal only please). There aren't picnic tables though, so plan to bring a blanket or chairs for your group.
Live Music
Thanks to the NY Musicians Meetup I am happy to announce that the Picnic will feature some live music. The line-up includes Rain of the Rock, Dave Sasscer and the Mojo Conga Jam, The Rich Casella Band, Wussy, Oz, The Bliss Jockeys, Amie Amis, and Jason Vitelli.
Bands will be performing from noon until 3:30, so be sure to come in time to enjoy the music!
Rain Date
Also, we have arranged a rain date with the Parks Deparment, so if the weather tries to ruin our party we will change the date to October 13th.
