Eat Indian Food & desserts

This is a new vegetarian Indian restaurant/café that has lots of vegan items including some delicious vegan desserts. Their prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are good. They have unusual appetizers, dosas, thalis (for only $5.00), and more. They’re giving a FREE dessert to anyone who shows up and orders dinner. Vegan menu is below. (It would not attach as it's a PDF, someone please tell me how to attach it)

P.S The 2 ladies who are usually behind the counter speak English and so far have been VERY good at telling me what's vegan and what's not. For the desserts, the ingredients are actually listed, so you can see which ones you can get. I don't know the names of any of them, ;) but there's several that are vegan.

This is a fast food Indian place like many of them in Hicksville. It has tables but no table service as you order the food from the case and they heat it and then you bring it to your table. The appetizers and thalis are already made (cafeteria style) and it's heated for you. I think the dosas are made to order as they don't reheat well, but I'm not sure as I haven't ordered that. The food is good for the price, but not as good as a regular sit down indian restaurant with table service. But, the food is good. I have not had ANY problems with bugs, spoiled food, etc. and I've been there about 3X. If someone is expecting a fancy sit down perfect restaurant with fancy prices, this isn't it. It's more like a veggie-vegan taco bell, mcdonald's, or burger king. You're not gonna die from it, the food is cheap & good, but it's not 5 star gourmet. Hope this helps.

So sorry I am going to miss this dinner because I LOVE Indian food. If everyone likes the food, I hope there will be another event at this new restaurant :-)

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
