The FIRST Veggie Pride Parade in America for the SECOND time...
Please note Curly's normally opens at 10 am on weekends, while Organic Grill opens at 10:30. There is a special page within the Veggie Pride Parade Web site outlining how restaurants can get involved, and how both individuals and businesses can place a sponsorship ad in the official program/ad booklet. Contingents from all walks of life are encouraged to get involved. The parade is fashioned after and will take place the same weekend as the Veggie Pride Parade in Paris. The Parisian parade was the first of its kind ever to take place in the world and has been going on annually since 2001. Visit
http://www.veggieprid... for more information about volunteering and sponsorship.
Post-parade, please consider patronizing the nearby all-veg Maoz, Adelina, Pure Food & Wine, or even the veg-friendly Trader Joe's and Whole Foods.

The weather held out for us until just about the very end, and it was nice to meet so many kind, compassionate others who shared stories and recipes.
The free food sample supply seemed endless with tofu/sub sandwiches and acai juice, and coconut water - I'm sure I'm forgettign something.
How many scrumptious empanadas did V-Spot go through? ;-)

Decent weather considering. Quite a few meetups there, at least 100 from various meetups not all tri-state area either :-) Guessing 800 in Parade proper, 1,500 at Expo/Rally.

S'nice is a vegan/veg cafe nearer to the parade on 8th ave and 11th street for snacks and meals, pre or post-parade.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
