Who or what introduced you to EatUP?

A vegan friend who recently joined recommended I checkout the website.

What number of the week's 21 meals do you cook?

I cook four to five meals a week. Not a big cooker or ever home long enough.

What and where is your favorite vegan spot in the world to eat?

I have not gone to many vegan spots to eat. However, as of now I would have to say B-Cafe in Washington, D.C. is my favorite of all the ones I have been to.

What is your fantasy NYC Vegan EatUP event?

My fantasy NYC Vegan event would look like a highshool science fair/lounge mixer. There would be a cooking station where one would learn about food and actually create there own. Another section would be dedicated to other aspects of a vegan lifestyle such as fashion, health and animal education. The last area would be more of a fun party scene where people can talk, drink wine, and have fun music to dance to.

My name is Alexis. I was born and raised in New York City. Later lived in Washington, D.C. for a bit. I am a twenty-three year old Latina and a recent college grad. I was a pescitarian/ vegetarian for a couple of years. Last 6 months I been a vegan!
