Kickstarting RoundUP discusses Vegan Pizza Day, Vegan TV & a Blossom on Carmine DEAL

Good morning green grubbers.

Might've mentioned the cronut™ has been successfully veganized and oh so deliciously realized at Peacefood Downtown.

Vegan Pizza Day is this Saturday. GOOD vegan pizza in NYC proper can be found at Peacefood Downtown, since you are there for some don't call them cronuts made vegan so they can stay out of court (and stay in the kitchen!) anyway.

Of course, there is the all veg*n Cafe Viva, omnivorous though wonderful Pala, Whole Foods vegan pizza slices of the day (as well as frozen options), raw pizza at Rawlicious (or even pizza 'wedges' at Lifethyme). And JUST heard about Wild Pizza this evening. It seems to be a reboot of Slice AND gluten-free to boot. (Lemme know the 411 if you've been!)

Also heard that Le Pain Quotidien UES increased their vegan menu options by a lot. Including some sort of hempseed burger. Would someone please confirm? (We'll leave the denials to D.C. and courtrooms, eh?) Maybe email a pic of this new menu?

OK, I need to let you all know about – and ask for your support! – for Vegan Mashup, Season Two's Kickstarter. This new tv cooking show aired on public tv nationwide this Spring. We want to bring more episodes and eats to the airwaves. It takes a village and Some Money Honee!! So PLENTY of support and sponsorship is need to make this happen. Much appreciation for you letting others know about the show and campaign.

And finally, please be a good veg friend and gift one of these Cafe Blossom on Carmine deals. (Don't be foolish though, get one or two for yourself! The Chef told me their summer menu is coming very very soon!!)

OK plenty plated up here for y'all to chew on! Peace and be fresh berried ASAP ;-)
