Introduction

Hi everyone, I have an environmental science back ground and currently am working on recycling and climate change programs. I'd like to get more people informed and involved in environmentally related events throughout the city.

What kind of environment group activities would you like to do?

Lectures, activism, volunteering, reading groups, potlucks, documentaries, happy hours, museums, group discussions, presentations, nature walks, camping, hiking, conferences, coffee talks, and so on.

What environmental issues are you most concerned with?

Global climate change, conserving wilderness, ecosystem health, biodiversity, recycling, pollution, animal rights, protecting high conservation value areas, organic living, EJ, sustainable development, alternative/renewable energy, air & H2O, toxics.

What triggered your interest/passion in the environment?

I think it was all those nature walks with my family, going to summer camp, loving animals, etc. I just always loved being outside and being able to identify trees, then planting trees and doing roadside cleanups which helped make me who I am today.
