Announcing a new event for The Metro NYC Environmental Meetup!

What: Current Environmental Events Coffee Klatsch-Third Thursdays

When: Thursday, December 13, 6:30 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Event Description: Current Environmental Events Coffee Klatsch

A coffee klatsch is a casual social gathering for coffee and conversation

The third Thursday of every month (Okay so it's not the third Thursday this month. The November third Thursday was Thanksgiving and the December is right before Christmas so we'll do one Klatsch in between for both months)we will gather at a coffeehouse for discussions of current environmental events and issues within our community, locally, state level, national, and globally. Bring that interesting newspaper clipping (or your laptop with the article downloaded :)), bring your sign up sheet for that issue or event you need volunteers for, but most importantly bring yourself, your curiosity and good humor.

Our next meeting place will be Le Pain Quotidien on 7th Ave & 58th St (open until 8:30pm). The NYC locations of this communal table coffee house are certified Green Restaurants by the Green Restaurant Association, Additionally they have a commitment to sourcing organic products when available.

*Each month one of the organizers: Cathy, Robyn, Margo, Andreas, Glenn or Anna will moderate the discussion to ensure that everyone can fully participate.

*Please be respectful of others, voice your opinion but allow others to do so too.

*Please enjoy yourself, but not at the expense of the group.

*Please be prepared to pay for your meal.
