Thought about going to Solar One's CitySol, but didn't want to go by yourself? Problem solved. By all accounts this should be a really great set of events. CitySol runs Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.

What we'll do?
+ Some of the non-profits (& possibly CitySol itself) need volunteers so we'll see if we can help out Sea Of People, etc. Still working with Solar One on how we can help most.
+ We'll also check-out some great workshops & games (powered by Solar & BioDiesel)

"Soundwalks" with Todd Shalom (www.beautymarsh.com) of the New York Society for Acoustic Ecology (2 sessions: 1pm & 3pm ? each soundwalk adventure is limited to

2:30pm Experimental Outdoor Ambulatory Sound Performances Five musicians (Michael Attias, Michael Evans, Kenta Nagai, David Watson and Matthew Welch) explore the location and ways of playing and listening together (and apart) at Solar One at Stuyvesant Cove Park.

4pm "GO AHEAD AND TOUCH IT!"
A conversation about artful activism and creative community building on the front lines of New York City's sustainability movement.
With Ed Morris (The Canary Project), Matthew McGuinness (The 62), Natalie Jeremijenko (NYU Environmental Health Clinic), Kate Zidar (S.W.I.M.), Wes Rozen (Situ Studio) and more TBA.

5pm: "Old Goat Karts DRAG RACE" ? Solar One's Citysol site will be transformed into a mini-race course for The 62's renewable-energy powered reclaimed go-carts (think: suped up barbie jeeps and rascals)
