As members of The NYC Financial Engineering Meetup you may be interested to know about a series of upcoming 'Peer-to-Peer Lending' workshops. Peer-to-peer, or P2P, lending is a form of lending money between individuals without going through a traditional intermediary such as a bank or credit union. The lending takes place online through peer-to-peer lending companies' websites using various different lending platforms and credit checking tools. Most importantly, it's faster, more transparent and efficient than banks, and at lower interest rates as well. It's a relatively new industry that is just catching on. (Google recently invested in Lending Club, the leading P2P company in the industry: http://onforb.es/ZYnI...)
Our series of hands-on 'P2P Lending Workshops' are for any investor who wants to make superior returns on their money, while at the same time controlling the downside risk. The workshops are structured so that whether you are new to investing, or an experienced investor, you will be up and running quickly in this exciting -- and profitable -- investment space.
Also, if you could let any other interested folks know about the workshop, that would be just absolutely fantastic! The event is filling up fast so if folks plan on coming they should register soon. Details are below.
Best regards, Andrew
