I'm a huge fan of hookah, whether smoking my own pipe at home, or at a traditional Hookah lounge. I thought it would be fun to get a group together and smoke at one of the hookah lounges in the city. If you've ever wanted to try, this is the perfect opportunity! If you're an expert, come teach us more about the interesting world of hookah! There are plenty of spots in the city, but I have not yet tried "Kazuza." It's located in the East Village on Avenue A. Yelpers have given it pretty solid reviews. They have a large menu, so I thought we could do a mid afternoon Sunday smoke and late lunch/early dinner for those who are hungry. For those who aren't, I recommend a tea to help the hookah go down! Most people think of a hookah lounge as only a night time spot, but I assure you that it's a relaxing way to kill a few hours on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
