What is your level of German Language skill and where did you learn or study the language?

Went to German School in Ridgewood Queens for about 3 years, till I was asked to leave! Was stationed in Frankfurt back in 89-91 and consider myself fluent enough to have a conversation, can understand almost all of it, read a bit but my writing isn't up to par. That being said, the DW channel is on often in my house.

Do you agree to come if you RSVP "yes" to our events? (it is perfectly OK RSVP "no" or "maybe" but not OK to say "yes" and not show up. )

I'll probably say "maybe" more often than not, due to my flying schedule.. but if I say I'm coming, I'll be there!

Do you agree to email the organizer privately and directly if you have any grievances about the group or members of the group?

Sure.. who wouldn't?!

Do you agree to read the Stammtisch rules posted on the message board?

Native New Yorker who's parents came from Germany.. still have most of my family over there (including my sister in Stuttgart!) and get over there at least a half a dozen times a year. It help when you can fly yourself over~
