Cut-edge technology to be seen by end of year presented by 3 speakers from basics, to implementation on machine, to an end-user in a small production environment. Very well rounded.

First meeting..thought it was going to be classroom/academic environment. Did not expect a professional/specialized lecture. But a great motivating experience to study harder.

DO NOT JUST SHOW UP. Send your first and last name as it appears on your ID to Eric, as the security in the One Penn office will NOT let you into the building. Eric will pass this to the Cisco host to get you on the building access list. Once in Penn, walk toward the security desk, present your ID, and you will be granted a visitor's pass and access to the 9th floor.

Once on the 9th floor, you will be greeted and escorted to the event.

Try and show up early, as the security is slow.

Hi francis, just enter the building and goto 9th floor Cisco office, the building security will tell you where to go.

Hey all! I just wanted to give a bit of info into Tuesday night's demo. We will show FCoE being deployed end to end. A host, with Converged Network Adapters will form a port channel upstream to 2 physically separate Nexus 5000 devices. These 5000's connect upstream to another pair of 5000's that will have connectivity to a FCoE EMC array. The demo will walk through how Cisco implemented FCoE in their switches, show the multi-hop capability, and demonstrate virtual port-channel. See you then!

Can you discuss a bit more on what the "live demonstration" will be hosted on. Hardware wise, I mean.
