Thanks for offering me this opportunity, however, I'm not interested in changing my career now and I think I'm not qualified for this position.

Hello All,
I have an interesting long-term consulting gig where the right candidate will be working on many different projects and technologies in an agile dev environment (with Java as on of the core languages)  ----  Formal details below, let me know if you're interested and we can set up a time to talk.  Thanks --

Lead Application Developer

Professional Services focuses on delivering ad-hoc reporting and other custom solutions for clients who use the system for campaign delivery.  Our strength lies in our ability to execute these solutions quickly; delivery schedules are measured in weeks, sometimes days.  We are responsible for maintenance and monitoring of solutions (in conjunction with the operations team) once they go live.  This makes Professional Services an extremely dynamic place to work, but requires people who can keep up.  These people will have a set of tools they know well and can put towards almost any task (e.g. scripting tools, debugging tools, scheduling tools), and they are proactive enough to improve the existing infrastructure and keep things flowing smoothly without being asked to do so.

All candidates must be able to learn quickly.  We touch a large number of applications which have little or no documentation attached.  The ability to jump into working code to figure out how things work is absolutely necessary for all positions.

Lead Application Developer

This person has 6+ years of development experience on a Linux/Unix platform, preferably working in a multitude of languages and technologies.  Deep experience in one or more of: python, java (EJB), perl, C/C++ required.  Understanding of Agile development and/or other iterative development methodologies in a small team setting is a plus.   Ideal candidate will have team lead experience in all stages of application development from requirements gathering through delivery for client-facing applications which bring together many disparate technologies (UI, middleware, database).
