We have multiple openings for experienced Java Developers.
Skills Needed: Java experience in the Financial Industry. The end
application is real-time risk computational in nature. Capital Markets/Fixed
Income domain and Risk Systems Experience desired.
Our client, a major financial services company's Risk Technology team is
looking to hire several Senior Core Java Developers with a minimum of 5 to 7+
years of experience. These core developers will be exposed to different areas of
core java development, multi-threading and concurrency management. These
positions require expert level core java experience.
Our client is looking for someone who understands object oriented
programming and has expert level skills. Linux shell script experience is a
definite plus. Ideally they would like someone that comes from the financial
domain and has experience dealing with risk scenarios in a real-time evaluation
environment. Strong software design experience and good communications
skills are required for these positions.
This is a long term engagement with the potential to grow with the company.
You will be involved in a mission-critical project that will provide you great
exposure to cutting edge technologies as well as being exposed to the
business.
The place of work would be in Midtown Manhattan.
(We also a few positions open in London for the same team.)
Pay is competitive. Benefits include paid vacation, medical insurance
coverage, 401k with company match and other benefits. We can work with a
straight bill rate if so desired.
Since the need is immediate, we prefer people that are US
Citizens/Green-card holders over H1 visa holders.
