RE: [gokarts-30] Meetup Cancelled: Race 1 SAFEANDFAST.US Grand Prix at GPNY Downtown Clockwise

Hey Asher,
Thanks for the response.
Yeah I am getting that from several members.
Looks like even though $150 buys you 55 minutes of seat time as opposed to the 32 minutes you can get for $110 ($10 daily ticket plus 4x$25) it is still $150 that is too much for one event.
The video was in the plans I just didn't have volunteers for the recording except Stephan who volunteered for the interviews.

Anyway, I am very determined and I am not giving up, I just have to get real I guess :)
I am planning to discuss the necessary changes with those who will come to the Australian this weekend.

Are you coming?

Erik

Erik,

I did sign up and was planning on attending, although I have to say that the pricing was a bit steep - if planning 16 races or so.  I think for most people it's prohibitive, especially during these times.  Perhaps fewer races and also some sort of sponsorship subsidy?  I think filming the races and putting them on YouTube for purposes of some sort of "value added" benefit for sponsors would also be a good idea.

My heart is bleeding but unfortunately I had to cancel Race 1 SAFEANDFAST.US Grand Prix at GPNY Downtown Clockwise, scheduled to occur on March 28,[masked]:30 AM for lack of interest. Please update your plans accordingly.

I will set a new date and will try to promote the event better so hopefully we get more RSVP

Those who already paid can get a full refund or can get credit for the next race. Please let me know which would work for you better.
For those who RSVPd thanks for your enthusiasm and support and don't get discouraged, it's not the end just a bit bumpy start. Watch for new announcement.
For those who didn't RSVP - I'd appreciate if you let me know what was it that you didn't like about the event so I can adjust accordingly.

Thank you
Erik
