[b]‘Welcome to the Black Professionals Lunch Club’
Our New York Chapter is the first of its kind. We expect to establish other Chapters in New Jersey, Atlanta, North Carolina, W.D.C. and Miami Florida…
Our goal is to unite black professionals of a gentleman and a lady like character with Nobility and royal principles. There exist 100 blackmen, Concerned Blackmen, 100 black Women, The Black Nobility (Moors of Europe), Black Wall Street, The Boule, links, Jack & Jill Club, and the Divine 9. These are superb organizations that paved the way and still stand for our next generation.
Well now is the time to inculcate some of these principles among members of this club to continue to develop the best in ourselves, family and our young son’s and daughters that will lead in our next generation.
Question: How would we foster a chain of integrity, character, financial wealth, moral principles and a true bond of a professional and social network of exchanged concepts toward success?
Answer: By Casual lunchings/dinners, business and social networking events, business forums, life coaching seminars, financial/investing forums to assist members in obtaining wealth. Annual Gala’s, dinner cruises, participating in other professional organization affairs, and times where we want to just have a nice time. Let’s not forget about our youth. We MUST host a teen development and leadership program (at least once a year). We all know that it’s not so much about us, but it is about our teens.
*Reviving the TBPLC:
Our group was dormant for about three years. I was asked to assist in taking this club to the heights based on evaluating quality membership and bringing greater value to its members that makes up this Black Professionals Lunch Club.
We invite members to join that want value from us as much has value to offer. We only want to be around the best (what about you?). We know of the saying’ Iron Sharpens Iron.’
You are now a member of a meetup group of quality, pride and prestige ...and we appreciate your interest. But it will take more than your membership here to make this Club work. Your creative ideas, professional connections, business values and life experience are valuable to all members that seek success. Your participation when possible and your willingness to bond with other members develop and expand in professional relationships is needed.
This isn't just another meetup group...we are career men and women that desires the best in life!
You were looking for a Black Professional Organization. Well you found it. Our postings are strictly based on this mission statement.
Note re: RSVP: Dear members, please remember in the book of etiquette's, it states, when you receive a RSVP. You should always respond, even if you are not going. I would like to make a change in this. If you RSVP, please change it if you are not going so that we could give the proper count of attendees.
Thanks for joining and we look forward meeting you soon.
- Nakiim Bey, Co-Organizer.
