Developing Enterprise Applications on Xamarin

During the past months, Szymon has been part of a team developing a virtual collaboration cross platform application for a large insurance provider. The project involved setting up a video chat between two users, sharing data entry and information screens and generating documentation as a result of the interaction. In this session we will look at how the team leveraged various .NET technologies and how each piece fit into the final architecture.

Szymon Rozga is a Senior Software Engineer at BlueMetal in NYC, where he focuses on designing and developing mobile solutions for both consumer-facing and enterprise clients on web and native platforms, most recently delving into Xamarin. Prior to his current role he spent over 5 years leading teams and consulting at various financial institutions, assisting with their Windows-based software efforts. Szymon currently runs the NYC Open Device Lab.

Pizza will be provided by Xamarin

Absolutely! You can still get in without being on the list, but it requires a little more processing so we recommend showing up a little earlier, as Somya mentioned. See you there!

Friendly reminder that tonight's meeting is on the 5th floor in the Music Box room instead of our normal room. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Hey everyone, heads up on an important change for this meeting! We will be meeting on the 5th floor in the Music Box room instead of our normal room on the 6th floor. This change is just for this one meeting, and we'll return to our normal room for future meetings. Thanks!
