Country Dance Party Overlooking NY Skyline With NASH-FM 94.7

Country is stronger than ever in NYC, especially with the launch of Country Music Radio Station NASH 94.7. We are very excited to welcome NASH-FM to this event on Saturday night, March 8th, from 6:30-11:30 PM.  Join us as we welcome our special guests from the radio station who will be on hand with special prizes just for you.

This special dance event will be held at one of the most spectacular venues you will ever see!  230 Fifth Avenue Penthouse Lounge is 20 stories high and has breathtaking views of Manhattan, a great menu, reasonable NYC drink prices, a large sectional floor, free coat check, and access to their  rooftop bar that makes the skyline even more spectacular than it already is!!

Join your hosts D.C. (Dave Cervini) from former Country Radio 103.5 WYNY, Rona Kaye and DJ Dave Muzzi for a night of Country fun!

The night will feature:

-Drink specials till 10pm
-Dance lessons almost every hour for    beginners to intermediate
-Access to a delicious full menu
-Complimentary coat check

What to expect: 200+ fun and friendly people looking listen to some great music, socialize and maybe learn some fun dance steps.

What are the ages?  20's - 60's mostly and everyone always seems to find their own niche

Can I come alone?  Yes, most of those coming come on their own. If you don't  anyone we will introduce you to others so come alone or bring a friend or two....either way you will feel comfortable and right at home.

Will I feel uncomfortable if I don't know how to dance? We have lessons almost hoursly and there is always someone there who is willing to show you a thing or two on the side.

Should I eat before I come? No, They have a nice menu there.

How should I dress?  There is no real dress code but leave the dirty stuff and sneakers home.

I am coming in from the suburbs, Is it a safe area? Yes!  and there are plenty of people on the streets at all hours

Please note that the night will have non experienced dancers attending.  If you are a seasoned dancer, please be patient with the newbies (Try to remember that you were new to the dance floor at one time and how important it felt to be welcomed by the "regulars"!).

The dance floor is a sectional parquet floor.  Might not be 100% smooth in some spots but good enough to dance, and to be able to listen to some mighty fine contemporary and classic Country tunes....and....most of all, to have FUN together!!

Admission $15 includes: Room Rental, DJ's, Dance Lessons: PAY AT DOOR

230 Fifth Avenue is easy to get to from Penn Station and just a few blocks more to Grand Central.  The N,R trains stop around the block.  There is plenty of free on street parking and garages in the area.

Awesome time. Everyone makes you feel welcomed & whether you know how to dance or not, you're gonna dance.

This is a really fun crowd, and I loved the variety in music. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was the amount of line dancing lessons that seemed to be going on throughout the night. I'm a huge fan of two step and other types of partner dancing, however I think this might be more geared towards the line dancers. I will definitely go again, I would just like to see more two step :)

I just can't figure out why I don't hear about these things until the day before. It is really hard to schedule that way.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
