MORE ON WHY - This is a critical time in the history of small seed companies as they are rapidly being purchased by large corporations.  For the first time in human history, the genetic material carried in seeds is diminishing due to market forces rather than increasing through the abundant generosity of nature. Learn how to grow and save seed, and who you can buy from to support diversity, fairness and non-gmo food.  Purchase heirloom and open pollinated seed that reproduces true to form.  Talk with other gardeners, trade seeds and come together in celebration of the potential we hold.

We're up on the 2nd floor in the Old Stone House! Great exhibits and activities! There are short talk and demos on the hour, every hour (except 1 pm), so it may look like a talk is going on... But come on in!

Good for you all (Southern/Texan for y'all) - this is a great thing to do - your agenda looks like a great way to do it - exciting, fun, educational, community building. I'm sending your invite around Auustin - hoping to stir up some interest in doing same here - so, thanks to all - everyone, please attend - we need to make seed swapping a big part of our culture again - if it works, seeds will be given/swapped/traded - certain large, predatory, not-nice seed companies with thier interests - not ours - at heart will have to sell pencils on global street corners - while you celebrate the joys of local harvests of local varieties of fruits and veggies. Go seed, Go! Bravo!
