Last month, a group of professional herbalists and people interested in learning more about holistic health met with American Herbalist Guild Councilmember Richard Mandelbaum at the Tristate Acupuncture College to discuss creating a local AHG chapter.
At that meeting, it was decided that the chapter boundaries would be exclusive to New York City--although people from outside the region would be welcome to join--and that meetings should be held monthly.
Meetings will of course have some administrative work time, but the focus will be primarily on education and building links between local practitioners, with a special effort to reach out to non-Western traditional practitioners as the more diverse community is, the stronger it will be.
Please join us for this second planning and sharing session as we set up the foundation for the first New York City Chapter of the American Herbalist Guild. No knowledge of herbalism required!
The meeting will be held at a private location near the World Trade Center. Please RSVP directly to Richard Mandelbaum, RH (AHG): [masked]
Participants will receive an email from him with the specific location and agenda.
