How did you become interested in permaculture?

I first worked on a model permaculture farm in costa rica, then took a class in north carolina. I have been living with permaculture concepts for about 10 years now.

If you have taken a Permaculture Design Course, who was your was your teacher and what year did you receive your certification?

I am finishing the Phase II of the PDC class. I took the first half in Northe Carolina. Taking the class with Green Pheonix Now.

How are you currently applying the permaculture principles in your life? (Care of people and the earth, fair distribution of surplus, promotion of diversity, cooperation, integration, zero waste, etc.:

I apply as much as possible in work and play.

What are some of your favorite permaculture resources? (Books, videos, websites, etc.)

I like permaculture voices podcast and permaculture magazine from England and Milkwood Permaculture.

What are some aspects of life in New York that you would like to see the group address from a permaculture perspective? (For example: land use patterns, the banking and healthcare systems, transportation, housing, community development, food, waste

I would like to start a reading club on articles from the Permaculture Activist and if we want to perhaps it can evolve also into a book club

I am interested with connecting and working on permaculture projects in NYC. To me permaculture is the solution to the many environmental degradation issues that are clearly boomeranging back to negatively affect humans.
