How did you become interested in permaculture?

Volunteering with City Repair's Village Building Convergence in Portland, Oregon

If you have taken a Permaculture Design Course, who was your was your teacher and what year did you receive your certification?

Haven't taken a PDC.

How are you currently applying the permaculture principles in your life? (Care of people and the earth, fair distribution of surplus, promotion of diversity, cooperation, integration, zero waste, etc.:

Creating supportive relationships, sharing of resources, living in cooperative situations.

What are some of your favorite permaculture resources? (Books, videos, websites, etc.)

I enjoy the City Repair's Block Repair manual - it really inspires me to see a vision of what our world could look like if people shared and connected a little more.

What are some aspects of life in New York that you would like to see the group address from a permaculture perspective? (For example: land use patterns, the banking and healthcare systems, transportation, housing, community development, food, waste

The view of the ground as enemy, as dirty, as something to be afraid of. I want to see people push against the earth and each other and find themselves supported.

Urban gardener, old-time musician, improvisational dancer and cooker, out-of-the-box creative thinker, long-distance bicycle rider, teacher, extrovert
