How did you become interested in permaculture?

Absolutely. I was first thinking about an internship with The Solar Living Institute in Hopland, CA, or this permaculture course offered by the Bullock brothers in Washington.

If you have taken a Permaculture Design Course, who was your was your teacher and what year did you receive your certification?

Yes, I have 5 wooded acres in woodstock ny with nothing on it, and I might try to get 2 acres near my parents home in Central Minnesota. Im more interested in doing a yurt-permaculture project in Minnesota first.

How are you currently applying the permaculture principles in your life? (Care of people and the earth, fair distribution of surplus, promotion of diversity, cooperation, integration, zero waste, etc.: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permaculture)

No, but I would interested to join or participate with one for 3-12+ months. Im very interested in WWOOF.org programs. I still have alot of traveling to do.

What are some of your favorite permaculture resources? (Books, videos, websites, etc.)

Haven't heard of either...excited to find out about them

What are some aspects of life in New York that you would like to see the group address from a permaculture perspective? (For example: land use patterns, the banking and healthcare systems, transportation, housing, community development, food, waste

No

Introduction

Permaculture is the only way we can come close to being sustainable, & basically survive into the future. We all have to learn this as soon as we can and apply it. Time is running out - new urbanism or run for the hills? I think I choose the latter.
