How did you become interested in permaculture?

Yes. I would also like to study Permaculture (by any other name) for a nationally accredited degree to help "mainstream" it here in the USA.

If you have taken a Permaculture Design Course, who was your was your teacher and what year did you receive your certification?

Yes. Everywhere, right?

How are you currently applying the permaculture principles in your life? (Care of people and the earth, fair distribution of surplus, promotion of diversity, cooperation, integration, zero waste, etc.:

I am working on buying land off the MetroNorth with a few people (more welcome), but I would also be interested in joining and existing eco-village, and simply lending my energy and skills to farms and forest gardens (but I need shelter for me and my cat).

What are some of your favorite permaculture resources? (Books, videos, websites, etc.)

What Annabel is saying about this Meetup Group

According to founding members, the New York Permaculture Meetup group is increasingly energetic and active! The discussion and orientation -based monthly meetup still forms the foundation of the group, but we are developing working groups to work on specific projects and sites physically.
