Hey Jim, I also play acoustic guitar, and in the past practiced zazen on a regular basis. What I'm hoping will happen in this group will be a discovery of how our inner spiritual life contribute to the art/music we create and appreciate. There is a lot about art that transcends the particular practices of all religions and other spiritual disciplines, but I also have found that practicing those disciplines can contribute to even better expressions. There is a connection.
