Thanks so much, Meg! Yes, that's my little one. She's a lot of fun and has become a real help in the kitchen lately! I'm looking forward to teaching her the ins and outs of fermenting, sprouting, etc. I made some sauerkraut (SP?) recently that wasn't so hot but I'm excited about future adventures. : )

I just wanted to say thank you so much for hosting the fermentation workshop the other day, and sorry that I needed to leave early suddenly.
My friend was safe.
What happened in Japan is really horrible, and I feel very terribly sorry for people who lost loved ones and are still suffering.
