So glad you connected the dots Melissa, we need solid educators and experienced field hands in the conversation of community building, and your sharing is appreciated among all Kindred Spirits.. Welcome wise one...
Hi Melissa and welcome to the group
I've been looking to learn more about permaculture practices and implementation. I will be leading Philadelphia teens this summer at a community garden in Camden, NJ with Hope Works and through the SCA (Student Conservation Association). I want to introduce the students to alternative ways of farming as we discuss food justice, and am hoping to implement a plot using permaculture principles. I'd LOVE to be able to take what I gain in the course straight to the comm. garden. Is there still room?!
I am so happy to find this website and see what your doing in this area. I just came home from living in Australia where I became more aware of Permaculture. I spent much time trying to get into Robyn Frances school there. But unfortunately visas, money and a long story sent me back here. I would love to join your certificate course this Sunday. Is it possible to speak with you on the phone? Please let me know. I eagerly look forward to hearing from you. Warm Wishes, Ana Fischer
Hi Melissa. I am looking to get involved and learn about permaculture. I WWOOFed at a permaculture farm and just finished a season with a CSA farm in Delaware County. I am looking for a peramculture farm in the northeast where I could work and learn this coming growing season. I am wondering if you can recommend any. My future goal is to start, along with other interested people, a permaculture farm near Philadelphia. I would love to hear about how you got your start in permaculture as well. thx
