How did you become interested in permaculture?

Looking into taking a PDC course.

Introduction

Native NY'er practicing aspects of permaculture my whole life (lifetime vegetarian, certified hugger-o-the-trees, & grew-up with a non-profit community youth services org as my growing sibling). That said, so much more to learn & friends to meet :)
