Dear Permies,?

?this a bit explicitly political, but I would like to extend an invitation to a letter-writing campaign/oil spill fundraiser at the Hill tonight, (29th and 3rd Ave) from 6-9 pm. see the invitation below. This becomes especially important given the epic flop of the climate bill at the end of last week.?

.You are cordially invited to THE GREEN TEA PARTY, an extended happy hour from 6-9pm on Monday, July 26th at The Hill on 29th St. and 3rd Ave.

The party will be featuring:
- $3 budlights and yuenglings,?
- $5 well drinks, appletinis, watermelon martinis, and other specialty cocktails?

Starting July 26th, the Senate is expected to take up comprehensive climate legislation. Many Senators are as yet undecided and need push in the right direction.? Join us at the Hill and assert your First Amendment right to petition our government by e-mailing these critical Senators as well as your Twenty-First Amendment right by drinking the night away.

Any and all donations received will be given to the Greater New Orleans Foundation to help those affected by the disaster in the gulf.

Help make a difference!

- Nathan Schumer
