RE: [permaculture-61] In search of a Permie

Hello Uchenna,

I am a Yoga teacher and am getting training in Permaculture. I am not ready to give a talk on Permaculture. However, we have invited two very serious permies to do a Permaculture Design Certification course at our Sivananda Ashram Yoga Ranch. I am attaching a flyer for these courses. Please pass them on. Thank you, Srinivasan

Subject: [permaculture-61] In search of a Permie

My name is Uchenna Egwuonwu. I am on the board of directors for The Complementary and Alternative Medicine Initiative (CAMI) a registered public charity assisting people living with HIV/AIDS internationally through permaculture. I looking for a "permie" to join me in talking about permaculture to medical students at Downstate University in Manhattan Thursday the 17th at 12pm. The presentation/conversation will last for one hour. The students are very excited and are looking forward to the talk. Below is a segment of the last email the group's president sent me. Please contact me if you would like to join me Thursday. I could use help spreading the word!

You do not need certification to talk about it to students. Thank you.

Hi Uchenna, It was great to finally talk to you.  I am really excited about the meeting.  I think it is perfect for our group and hopefully will generate some good resources for you.  We have an hour for lunch, just so you know how to focus your talk to make sure you hit your main points.

Support CAMI without spending a dime please go to and enter "CAMI" as the organization you want to support.  Just 500 of us searching four times a day will raise about $7300 in a year without anyone spending a dime!  Please spread the word!
