Thank You Renata for that important reminder.  Anyone who thinks that control of the worlds Food Supply and Resources is not a political
act, a quest for money and power, should see the film "THE FUTURE OF FOOD".

Oh! ... By the way, Is there an "Official" list of  OWS demands out there yet?   Where can I see them?
Finally, does anyone have any opinion of the views of  TIM WISE? I'll explain my motive for asking this question if someone chooses to answer.

Jonathan you need to read up on Eco Warriors or perhaps you are not aware of permaculture history but it is very much tied into politics because politics are controlled by banks and corporations nowadays not by the people...people at Occupy Wall Street are there to fight against big corporations like Monsanto~Have you read up on Monsanto since you bring up seeds? how are you not connecting the dots about this protest and what it's about....so you want to learn to be sustainable but think you will be allowed if people don't fight for you to have that right. Monsanto looks forward to controlling all aspects of agriculture GMO is their thing~Have you seen the Grey Water system that they have down at Zuccoti park?~there are eco warriors down there trying to teach people on how to be more sustainable through permaculture but we live in a world that is controlled by the 1% rich ass people that don't give a damn about the future of Permaculture or people.

This is ridiculous, if you are going to quote the Amendments, do it right. The right to free speech has NOTHING to do with obstructing another's right to pass, travel freely, or otherwise. The right to assembly is different, look it up. You are now a part of the problem, not the solution.
BTW, I joined the group to get best practices, lessons and tips on PERMACULTURE not POLITICS. You are confused, IMHO. Fair Share relates to this, as does people care, but can you find that in the section about seeds, animal husbandry, herb spirals... let me know. Did I miss something?

I am tired of hearing this crap. Please take me off the mailing list for NYC, etc. You are letting the issues of the day cloud the issues of your future.

peace!

The park has been kept clean~they are very well organized. I have
been there more than once and they maintain it on a daily and throughout the
day~what is there to clean up?...the hippies? the anarchist?...the mamas and
the papas?...the students and labor unions?...the grannies?...the eco
warriors?~Bloomberg is just trying to break it up~this is a tactic that works
for the them the 1% but not the 99%.

What they should do is ...... disperse all the
residents to the Congressional District OFFices of the various
  congressmen.  There
are enough people to have a presence in each
office.   let NYPD and the mayor handle that!  Now Instead of
  having 1(one) OWS campsite
you now have 35.   come back when the
park is cleaned up!  ...Come back when the park is cleaned-up ...No big
  deal!

  Evicting Occupy Wall Street

Dear MoveOn member,

Unless we act now, tomorrow morning could mark the end of the
  occupation of Wall Street.

Mayor Bloomberg has ordered the NYPD to clear Zuccotti Park at 7
a.m. tomorrow. Protesters would only be allowed back in

under new rules
that would make it impossible to continue the occupation.1 But this
is our city, our park, and

our mayor, so as New Yorkers, we can put a
  stop to this.
If you can, come to Zuccotti Park
tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. to stand with the protesters

at the moment
  when they need us most.
They've put everything on the line to stand up
  against Wall Street greed and

the corruption of our democracy. Tomorrow
morning it's time to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them.
And right now call the city at 311 or
  212-NEW-YORK [masked])
, and demand that

Mayor Bloomberg
respect the protesters' First Amendment rights and not interfere with this
  peaceful occupation. Press "0"

to speak to an operator when it asks you
to choose a language. You can also text the Mayor at 311692. Your regular cell
  phone

texting charges will apply.

Mayor Bloomberg claims the shutdown is necessary for "cleaning
operations," but this tactic has been used to end

protests before. And
the new rules explicitly prohibit tarps, sleeping bags, and even "lying
  down."

This "operation" is not about cleaning, it's about trampling on
the First Amendment rights of protesters to speak

out against economic
injustice and gather peaceably to petition the government. It could damage the
  movement that has been

spreading across the country.
So come to the park Friday morning at 6
a.m. to stand with the protesters.

And right now, call 311, or
212-NEW-YORK [masked]), and tell them you want Occupy Wall Street to be
  allowed to remain

in Zuccotti Park without restrictions on their
ability to camp overnight. You can
  also

text the Mayor at 311692. Your regular cell phone texting charges
  will apply.

Thanks for all you do.
?Justin, Carrie, Michael, Anna,

and the rest of the team
