Lately I've been participating in seed-exchanges on various online gardening groups and websites, I thought it would be fun and sensible to get one started here with our local community.

all winter i've been thumbing through half a dozen catalogs from organic seed companies making our picks for planting this year,it's  dangerous stuff man! . my eyes are bigger than my garden(and wallet!) and before i knew it I had over $300 checked off . through trades i hope to knock that way down.maybe to zilch ;)

i'm attaching our current seed-list as a doc file here, if like me you get the meetup's digest and dont see attachments it can be found on the meetup file page as well as here
 Baldwin Organic Garden's Seed-exchange!
i'll try to keep it updated ever week or 2 so it may be best to email me for the newest version or find it on our facebook page above.  we also have  rooted cuttings for trade or sale, the goji berries are all ready to pot/plant now.
i'm thinking of adding garden tools and other materials/resources to the list as well ? have lots of tree slab lumber  from my 'treecycling' work. see tribal wind arts page below for that.

besides seed exchanges i've got to get busy recruiting more local peeps interested in joining our little permie garden gang ,we're tiny but growing!  if anyone here is or has friends in the baldwin/nassau LI area please share our page with them and get in touch!
