person-to-person food exchange project

Hello Permaculture enthusiasts!

We are a group of students who have entered the 'Thought For Food' Challenge with an idea for a food-sharing app on which people can let their neighbors know that they have food that would go to waste and can be picked up for free.  Similar to CouchSurfing, but for extra food!

The EPA estimates that American consumers also throw away 27% of the food they buy.  Meanwhile, increasing numbers of people struggle to afford enough wholesome, nutritious food for themselves and their families.

Check out our Facebook and TFF Challenge pages for more information, and we would appreciate it if you could 'like'/vote for our project!!
