Meetup Description: Free Rooftop Farming Class

In this class we will go over how to plant summer rooftop vegetable companions including tomatoes, peppers, melons, beans and squash in kiddie pools. In addition, we will demonstrate how to build a rooftop suspension trellis for peas, beans and cucumbers. We will also attempt to answer any questions you may have about urban permaculture or farming on rooftops, patios or fire escapes. The season is upon us!

114 Forrest St. is near the intersection of Morgan Ave. and Flushing Ave., 3 blocks south of the Morgan Ave. L train station.

Instructor: Adam Horwitch (Rooftop Farmer and Permaculture Designer)
