The Old Stone House Garden Club
Caring for a diverse and useful landscape.

June 20
10am - noon

"R" to 4th Ave & 9th
In Washington Park
(bordered by 3rd & 4th St. and 4th & 5th Ave.)
Park Slope, Brooklyn

Learn about our evolving landscape of garden plants and woodland understory.
The juneberry (saskatoon shadbush, western serviceberry or amelanchier ainifolia) is fruiting!
Food plants in the landscape:  strawberry, raspberry, lettuce, kale, collards, beans, tomato, elderberry, apple, plum, and herbs galore!

We will focus on herb & weed identification, and talk about public gardens and the people who use them.

rain or shine, outdoors
The gardens are extremely beautiful in the rain.

If you have thoughts on future meeting times or themes, please reply.
Support for the garden program has been enormous.
