Sorry to send another message so soon, but from the number of messages I received today, it has come to my attention that a great number of you only rarely visit the actual Meetup website and so don't know the details for Thursday's presentation on helping women leaders and other forms of practicing permaculture (midwifery, homeschooling, community activism, etc.) to gain greater recognition within the movement.
The event will take place from 7pm-9pm at the We Work office sharing space in the building on 349 5th Ave. The building is across the street from the Empire State Building so any train to Herald Square will get you close. The entrance is on 34th Street, around the corner from McDonalds, walking towards Lexington Ave.
Someone will be at the door to open it for you from 6:40-7:00pm. If you come after 7pm, you will need to text me so someone can come down to get you. (Obviously, I will not be answering my phone as I will be presenting, but someone can see your message pop on my screen and get you.) My number is[masked]-3910.
Please try to come on time so that everyone can stay in the room and not spend the whole time traveling up and down the elevator. In fact, come early and get to know some folks before it starts!
Feel free to bring a snack or drink to share, too!
For more info, and to RSVP, visit http://www.meetup.com/nycpermaculture/events/166519252/
And for those wishing to Skype in, I'm sorry, but I'm video-shy at this point in my life. Hopefully, though, you will have another chance to hear the talk or get the info from me in the future!
[masked] (Remember, I will NOT ANSWER my phone during the meeting.)
Text message when you have arrived for someone to let you in if the door's locked.
