Hello All!

Just checking in to see who's going to the 5th Annual Northeastern Permaculture Gathering on July 3rd-5th!

This year, Vermont permaculturists have offered to host the annual gathering at the 'All Together Now!' Living Arts Center in Central VT. Designers, Educators, Farmers, Builders, Authors, Transition Towners, Homesteaders, Community Activists, Families, and other enthusiasts from Maine, New York, New Hampshire, Quebec, Vermont,Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey, and elsewhere gather to practice, learn, celebrate, inspire, and embody our ecological culture. Other regions are welcome- of course! (from the NE PC wiki).

There will be workshops, demonstrations, site visits, lectures, field trips and discussions, delicious local food and beer, live music, dancing, camping and celebration! (according to NOFA VT, and I am apt to believe them!)

More details about the event are available here
and here, and on our Meetup calendar.

Keith Morris of Prospect Rock Permaculture is organizing site tours of innovative farms, businesses and homesteads around the area July 1st and 2nd. For more information, or to register for the tours contact Keith Morris at [address removed]

If anyone is already going up for both the site tours and the convergence, I would love to ride up with you. If not, I will rent a vehicle and anyone who wishes and will fit is more than welcome to come with me. (please help out with fees and gas!) You can contact me about this through my gmail, rupert.poole(at) or through the message board.

If anyone is driving and has seats available please feel free to post on the message board for ride shares if it suits you!

Thanks everyone and I look forward to seeing you at the gathering!
