Hi all,
been keeping busy chasing winter blues away by digging up ideas for the garden/yard next year...good news is solstice has now past and the days are now getting longer again.

after sending the last mail on the urban-homesteading film
( , )  i came across this guy john in northern Cali and his home garden, which blew me away

it's hard to think of this as a "home garden" with all that he's got growing there is easily a hundred or so unusual varieties of plants in the whole yard.  imagine an entire block doing this,  or a town ?!
also , a social networking "ning"group that looks interesting.
