Ha, I bet yours look fine. I pumped up the Vibrance setting in Lightroom. Left the sky looking a pretty fake, but I like the composition.

Thomas, should you need to rotate any photos, the free loss-less Anny Studio Rotator is easy to use. http://annystudio.com/software/jpeglosslessrotator/ Also batch editing to resize and copyright your photos can easily be done with the free PhotoScape http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php Another good program is Rename Master. http://download.cnet.com/Rename-Master/3000-18512_4-52866.html Of course, these can be done with more expensive software programs; yet free is far cheaper.

Kristin, the quality of lenses makes a tremendous difference. Then so do using programs like Photoshop, Lightroom and Aperture to enhance and/or change photographic images. Looking at you recent uploads, you have a nice lens. Your photos are sharp and crisp. Some photographers tweak their images. This can include their sharpness, saturation, vibrancy and even changing the clouds to some they have in their files. So what we see on the web is not always what we see in person. This does not mean that I suspect this is happening here. These are just a few of the techniques used to cause images to snap out at the viewer.

@RJ, great point about lenses, I am seeing this especially with all the different camera/lenses compared to the same shot! I use Lightroom and Nikon Capture 2.
