lient is seeking experienced PHP engineering talent to join New York City team.  You should be a highly-motivated professional, excited by the opportunity to solve interesting & diverse problems and to share your experience & ideas with our development team.   You will join our entrepreneurial thinking and elite team, which is responsible for iterating and improving our enterprise-grade business automation platform; building out new features and functionality as well as evolving the core engine and existing integrations.   
You will work in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment that values innovation, agility, and insight -- and is full of smart and interesting people, too.     
Specific Responsibilities:   

  1. Find innovative solutions to problems faced in the Internet Infrastructure industry
  2. Work closely with engineers and product managers to extend and maintain our business management platform
  3. Be heavily involved in the design process for new features & integrations
  4. Work in a highly agile environment and write really good, tight code
  5. Share your experience and knowledge with other team members   

  1. Strong enterprise PHP background required, experience with object oriented & procedural programming desired.
  2. Strong SQL & relational database skills, experience with MySQL desired.
  3. Solid HTML/CSS design skills, including experience with semantic markup and css-driven designs.
  4. JavaScript/Ajax experience, especially jQuery & jQuery UI.
  5. A working *nix sysadmin knowledge. 6.     Having contributed (or currently contributing) to an open source project is a major plus.
