Webinar & demo "SQL Queries that SUCK Episode 4 - Social Networking"

Hey guys,

I wanted to reach out and invite your group to our next free online event: "SQL Queries that SUCK Episode 4 - Social Networking"

Register Here <>

Presenter: Ari Weil , Director of Products

Date: September 20

Time: 1pm ET

Isn't it frustrating to deal with SQL when all you want is objects? or running a query only to discover it takes 7 minutes to complete? Or worse yet, going NoSQL only to find yourself having to write queries with hundreds of lines of code?

In this SQLibrium our development team will review a set of queries that cause serious performance bottlenecks in social networking platforms, specifically around attribute and profile search. These are painful real world queries that we have tackled while working with customers, which have allowed them to add previously impossible new features to their applications. We'll show how to overcome these problematic queries within your existing SQL deployment, and explore how augmenting SQL with Akiban brought drop-in query acceleration and scalability improvements for many of these use cases.

Duration: 45 minutes

Looking forward to seeing you among our attendees!

P.S. If you are unable to make it to the live event, register anyway <>, and we'll share the recording after the event.

Thank You,

Robert Charles Riegel III
