Dear Organizer,

I am writing to ask you for help spreading the word about our upcoming
"Bootup" Technical Pitch event, which is on September 14th. We would like permission to post it to your meetup group or have you forward it to your members. Any other help in spreading the word would also be appreciated.

We would also like to discuss running joint events at some point in the future.

We think your members will be interested in this innovative new event because our target audiences are web developers and startups. Our event is free and not strictly PHP related.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Milen Bourilkov

Bootup Technical Pitch Event
Website: http://www.meetup.com/new-york-php/

Bootup puts startups in front of engineers to create a forum for analysis and the technical pitch.

Modeled after financial funding pitch events, Bootup is the first to bring startups vital technical funding, bridging the gap between them and the technology they require.

If you're a serious startup then join us to get your strategy validated and gain backing from the technical investor, while connecting directly with skill.

If you're an engineer then join us to demonstrate your technical and analytical expertise, while connecting directly with cutting edge work opportunities.

Qualify your vision before the financial pitch. Time is precious. Expertise is money.

All are invited for networking with IT and startup professionals. These events are free but RSVP is required. RSVP at http://www.meetup.com/new-york-php

Our next event is September 14th. Can't make it? Watch our live broadcast online at www.justin.tv/bootup.

For startups:
-- Pitch your startup (2-5 minutes) to receive analysis and viability critique
-- Receive technical investment and recruit developers
-- Q&A with experts about best practices and the implementation strategy for your venture
-- Learn from other technical pitch presentations
-- Market your startup, increase visibility, and generate buzz

To do a technical pitch, read the Bootup Perfect Pitch Guide and contact an organizer at least 3 days before the next event. You can find the guide at http://files.meetup.com/1112242/Bootup-Perfect-Pitch-Guide.pdf. Recommended presentation templates are also available here: http://www.meetup.com/new-york-php/files/

For engineers and technical investors:
-- Demonstrate your skills by providing professional technical and analytical feedback
-- Learn about and get involved with innovative technology startups
-- Find job opportunities in the IT and startup sectors
-- Watch business and technology presentations or sign-up to do a presentation

If you are an technologist or engineer, simply RSVP and attend our events.

We have reserved a private meeting room at a restaurant with an LCD, free wireless, and seating for 35. Food and beverage table service is available.

The Bootup format is (ARRIVE ON TIME):
6:30 15 minutes of networking
6:45 Introduction of tonights speakers
6:50 Technical pitches followed by Q&A sessions
8:00 Wrap up and overview of next meetup

We're actively seeking sponsorship for a larger venue. Other sponsorship and co-hosting opportunities are also available.
