Hi everyone. I'm a python beginner but I know java pretty well. I'm working on a django web site and learning python as I go. I'm wondering if anyone has experience deploying a django site to appengine, heroku or other paas and can provide guidance or advice. I'm particularly interested in lessons learned related to backends and design of model components.

If you have a project that you want help with, it is very helpful if you put your code up on github before you come to the event. Putting the code on github makes it easy to share suggested changes.
