Python study group (Can't make Saturdays? See Sunday's group)

The focus will be working through these exercises:

http://learnpythonthehardway.org/book/

Feel free to bring a python project you're working on if you've already completed all the exercises in LPTHW.

Here are two ways you can come prepared so that in the event of a wifi fiasco, you can still learn python.

1) Download the text editor before you come. Any one of these would work:

http://macromates.com/

2) Download the pdf of this tutorial which is similar to LPTHW, plus the code companion files:

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: Feel free to generate tweets that we can play with, because tinkering with the Twitter API is always fun. Tweet one or more answers to the following question: "What is one thing you're looking forward to this weekend?"

and use #NYCPythonMeetup

Wow, thanks! Michael N. also explained a lot of concepts to myself and others. He explained how to write classes and did a jython demo, too!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
