Office hours is open to developers of any background and skill level. Newcomers to programming, Python, or NYC are all welcome, as well as experienced programmers and locals. The purpose of this event is to promote learning and community involvement within the NYC Python community.

PyCon's CFP closes on September 15th! Have you ever wanted to submit a proposal? Let's brainstorm ideas and write up proposals!

Other activities vary and may include (but are not limited to):

Informal tech talks: Topics can be anything related to Python or programming. Have a topic you'd like to see presented? Leave a comment starting with "Talk topic suggestion". Want to present? Message the organizers.

Technical discussions: Bring your code and / or questions about any relevant topic, and there will most likely be someone present who can help. For questions about a specific topic, please leave a comment in the form of "Need help with Django / Nginx / SQL".

Note: Recruiting and other solicitation are not allowed at these events. These are run for developers by developers. Behavior that makes developers uncomfortable will not be tolerated, and offenders will be asked to leave.
